연구실 소개
신주영 교수의 연구실은 망막 혈관병변과 연관된 질환, 특히 당뇨망막병변과 노인성 화도맥락화증의 발병 메커니즘과 치료 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 혈망막장벽 기능 회복, 혈관내피성장인자(VEGF) 조절, 밀도 높은 단백질(occludin, claudin-5, ZO-1)의 기능 유지 등 망막 혈관의 투과성 조절 메커니즘에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 자연물 성분(예: 클로로제닉산)과 항혈관내피성장인자 치료제의 임상적 효과를 실험적으로 평가하고 있습니다. 최근에는 반복적 광역학치료와 비침습적 수술법의 장기적 시력 영향에 대해서도 연구를 확장하고 있습니다.

In this Korean neovascular AMD cohort, there was no statistically significant effect of genotype on early visual outcome after ranibizumab treatment.
Primary chemotherapy combined with local therapy can be effective and safe in the treatment of retinoblastomas otherwise untreatable with other therapeutic methods, such as group D and E retinoblastomas. More vigorous treatment with more local therapeutic methods combined may yield even better results.
Following PK, CH tended to decrease while CRF tended to increase, significantly decreasing CH-CRF. A significantly higher intraocular pressure and a thinner CCT following PK may have contributed to the observed changes in these corneal biomechanical parameters.
