연구실 소개
남가람 교수의 연구실은 심장수술 및 중환자 치료 분야에서의 임상적 결과 최적화를 목표로 하며, 특히 심장이식, 혈액 수혈 전략, 산소 농도 조절, 혈관 카테터 삽입 기법 등에서의 고도화된 의료 기술과 환자 안전성을 중시하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 고위험 수술 환자의 사망률과 기관의 수술량 간의 상관관계 분석을 통해 의료기관의 질적 수준 향상에 기여하고자 합니다. 또한, 수술 중 산소 농도 조절이 신기능 보호에 미치는 영향 등 생리학적 기전과 임상적 결과를 연결하는 다학제적 연구를 지속하고 있습니다.

15Yeast RNA lariat debranching enzyme has been purified to near homogeneity using a bacterial overproducer of the enzyme. The enzyme is capable of digesting a variety of branched nucleic acid substrates, including group II intron lariats, multicopy single-stranded DNAs (msDNAs), and a variety of synthetic branched RNAs. In patients undergoing OPCAB, intraoperative administration of 80% oxygen did not decrease the length of hospital stay, compared to 30% oxygen, but may reduce postoperative acute kidney injury.
