연구실 소개
정기영 교수의 연구실은 수면 장애, 특히 레드 슬립 행동 장애(iRBD)와 관련된 뇌의 신경생리학적 기전을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 수면 중 뇌파(EEG)와 근육 활동의 상관관계를 분석하여 꿈을 실천하는 행동의 신경 기전을 규명하고 있으며, 특히 REM 수면 중의 운동 피질 활성화와 신경망의 비정상적 파동 패tern을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 인공수면 조명이 비만과 수면 건강에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 생 epidemiological 접근을 통해 연구하고 있습니다.

15Obesity is a common disorder with many complications. Although chronodisruption plays a role in obesity, few epidemiological studies have investigated the association between artificial light at night (ALAN) and obesity. Since sleep health is related to both obesity and ALAN, we investigated the association between outdoor ALAN and obesity after adjusting for sleep health. Our findings suggest that PRM may not be effective in treating RBD-related symptoms within the dose range used in this study. Further studies using doses higher than 6 mg per day are warranted.
