연구실 소개

류민옥 교수 연구실은 당유래 유전자공학적 줄기세포와 그 유래 외소포체를 활용한 염증성 질환 치료 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 간성염증성 장질환(IBD) 및 췌장염 등에서 면역조절 기전을 통해 염증 반응을 억제하는 TSG-6 단백질의 기능을 규명하고 있으며, ER 스트레스 조절과 조혈세포 유래 면역세포의 억제 기전도 탐색하고 있습니다. 이와 함께 고양이 및 개의 만성 신장질환 등 동물 모델을 활용한 번역의학적 연구도 활발히 수행되고 있습니다.

Our results suggest that PGE<sub>2</sub> secreted from fAT-MSC can reduce inflammation by increasing FOXP3+ Tregs in mice model of colitis. Consequently, these results propose the possibility of administration of fAT-MSC to cats with not only IBD but also other immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
