본 연구는 템플스테이 참가자의 체험동기, 지각된 가치, 몰입, 만족 간 구조적 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 통해 갈수록 복잡해지고 바쁜 일상으로부터 피로와 스트레스를 느끼고, 휴식을 통해 심신을 재충전하고자 하는 사람들에게 템플스테이 체험이 만족한 삶을 살아가는데 보탬이 될 수 있다는 합리적 근거를 마련해주는 것이 목적이다. 총 266부의 유효 표본을 실증분석에 활용하였으며, 분석결과 가설 1, 가설 2, 가설 3은 모두 채택되었다. 가설 1에서 템플스테이의 체험동기(불교문화, 자기성장, 휴식, 자연동화)는 지각된 가치에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 템플스테이 체험동기를 불교문화, 자기성장, 휴식, 자연동화로 폭넓게 설정하고, 이들이 모두 지각된 가치를 높이는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인된 만큼 템플스테이 체험이 개인의 정신건강에 이로운 영향을 미친다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 가설 2에서 템플스테이 체험에 대한 지각된 가치는 몰입에 유의미한 정(
