연구실 소개
한문구 교수의 연구실은 뇌졸중의 2차 예방 전략과 뇌혈관 질환의 예후를 개선하기 위한 임상 및 기초 연구를 중심으로 전개되고 있습니다. 특히 뇌경색 환자의 혈압 변동성, 뇌출혈의 혈종 확장 원인, 그리고 신경보호 작용을 갖는 VEGF의 기전에 대한 연구를 통해 뇌신경세포의 생존을 높이는 새로운 치료 전략을 모색하고 있습니다. 또한 신경중환자집중치료실(NeuroICU)의 운영이 뇌·척수 손상 환자의 신경학적 예후에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 국내적 맥락에서의 실증적 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

15After occurrence of RAO, there is a high risk of a subsequent vascular event, particularly ipsilateral stroke, within one month. LAA is an independent factor for the occurrence of a subsequent vascular event. Management for the prevention of secondary vascular events is necessary in patients with RAO especially with LAA. Large clinical trials are needed to confirm these findings.
