강필성 교수의 연구실은 사이버 보안 분야에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 내부자 위협(Insider Threat) 탐지 기술에 대한 핵심 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 사용자 행동 모델링과 이상 탐지 알고리즘을 기반으로 한 지능형 위협 탐지 기반의 보안 솔루션을 개발하고 있으며, 실시간 로그 분석을 통해 조직 내 잠재적 악성 행위를 정밀하게 식별하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히 기존 룰 기반 접근 방식의 한계를 극복하기 위해 머신러닝 기반의 유연하고 강력한 탐지 기법을 연구하고 있습니다.
