연구실 소개
민성원 교수의 연구실은 주로 감염성 질환, 특히 수두백일해바이러스(VZV) 감염의 혈액학적 진단과 병태생리학적 경과를 연구하며, 특히 VZV IgM 항체의 시간에 따른 변화를 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 당뇨병 관리와 관련된 신약 후보 물질의 기전 연구로, Polyopes lancifolia 추출물이 탄수화물 분해 효소를 억제하여 포만감 후 혈당 상승을 저지하는 데 기여하는지를 실험적으로 규명하고 있습니다. 추가로 호흡기 및 마취 관련 기도 관리 기법, 예를 들어 나비도관 삽입, 크리코이드 압박, 그리고 래라우지의 목표 지도 기법 등 임상적 기법의 정확성 향상에 관한 연구도 진행 중입니다.

The modified upward laryngeal handshake technique that involved tracing the trachea and laryngeal structures upward from the sternal notch was more accurate in identifying the cricothyroid membrane than the conventional downward technique in anesthetized female patients.
Intraoperative neuromuscular blockade affects the resting tension between the vocal cords. We assessed the effect of neuromuscular blockade on postoperative sore throat and hoarseness following tracheal intubation in patients undergoing lumbar spinal surgery in the prone position.
