연구실 소개

박신영 교수의 연구실은 뼈 재생 및 치료적 응용을 위한 첨단 생체재료와 조직공학 기술을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 3D 생체프린팅 기반의 고분자 기반 생분해성 스텐실, 금 나노입자 코ating 기술, 성장인자 유전자 전달 시스템을 활용해 뼈 재생을 유도하는 혁신적 솔루션을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 구강건강과 심혈관계 질환 간의 연관성에 대한 기초 연구를 통해 예방의학적 접근도 함께 추구하고 있습니다.

Oral hygiene care such as frequent tooth brushing and regular dental visits for professional cleaning reduced the risk of future cardiovascular events in healthy adults. This study also suggests that improved oral hygiene behaviour may modify the association between oral health and cardiovascular diseases.

In this study, we designed scaffolds coated with gold nanoparticles (GNPs) grown on a polydopamine (PDA) coating of a three-dimensional (3D) printed polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffold. Our results demonstrated that the scaffolds developed here may represent an innovative paradigm in bone tissue engineering by inducing osteogenesis as a means of remodeling and healing bone defects.
