Tamaki Nakano教授の研究室では、インプラント治療における長期的な安定性と美的な結果を実現するため、インプラント・アバットメント接続部の機械的特性や骨・歯肉の保存メカニズムに注目した生体力学的解析を進めています。特に、接続タイプ(外装・内装・テーパー接続)やインプラント間距離、アバットメント素材(ジルコニア・チタンベース)が骨吸収やパビラ形成に与える影響を、3次元有限要素解析や臨床画像解析(CBCT)を用いて解明しています。また、術後の機械的負荷に対する耐久性や、審美性を考慮したインプラント設計の最適化についても、ISO基準に準拠した静的負荷試験を実施しています。
