연구실 소개
이원종 교수의 연구실은 통신 및 시스템 설계 분야에서 다중 사용자 환경에서의 자원 할당 최적화, 다중 안테나 시스템의 용량 분석, 그리고 AI 기반 예측 유지보수 시스템의 인간-기계 상호작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, OFDM 및 다중 안테나 환경에서의 효율적 자원 배분, 실시간 레이 트레이싱을 위한 모바일 GPU 아키텍처 설계, 그리고 산업 현장에서의 AI 활용 사례 분석 등 실용적 응용에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 이론적 최적화부터 하드웨어 구현 및 실제 산업 응용까지 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 아우릅니다.

In this paper, the ergodic capacity region of multi-antenna multiple-access channels is derived, and the quantitative capacity gains of multiuser communication systems are investigated. In many multi-antenna communication scenarios, the ergodic capacity of multiuser systems, where many users are allowed to simultaneously transmit or receive in a common bandwidth, is shown to be significantly larger than that of single user systems.
