연구실 소개

김원석 교수의 연구실은 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 운동 기능 회복을 위한 첨단 재활 기술 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 가상현실(VR)과 센서 기반 모니터링 기술(예: Kinect)을 활용한 홈 기반 재활 시스템을 개발하여, 환자의 참여도와 치료 효과를 높이고자 합니다. 또한 뇌의 신경가소성 향상을 위한 비침습적 뇌자극(rTMS) 및 건강 관련 삶의 질(HRQoL) 평가를 통한 종합적 재활 전략 개발도 진행 중입니다. 특히 저비용·고효율 재활 솔루션의 임상적 유용성에 대한 실증 연구를 지속하고 있습니다.

Low-cost Kinect-based upper limb rehabilitation system was not more efficacious compared with sham VR. However, the compliance in VR was good and VR system induced more arm motion than control and similar activity compared with the conventional therapy, which suggests its utility as an adjuvant additional therapy during inpatient stroke rehabilitation.

Dysphagia is common until 1 month after ACDF. Although the incidence of aspiration or penetration in VFSS after ACDF was high, no patient had aspiration pneumonia, which may be because of the intact neurological swallowing mechanism. The typical pattern of dysphagia after ACDF included vallecular and pyriform sinuses filled with postswallow residue, which may result from soft tissue edema and weak constriction of pharyngeal muscles after ACDF.
