연구실 소개
김용백 교수의 연구실은 주로 동물 및 인간의 질병에서 비만, 간질환, 암 등에서의 유전자 조절 메커니즘을 다룹니다. 특히 microRNA, 염기서열 변형, 에피제네틱스, 대사 경로 등 다양한 분자생물학적 기전을 활용해 질병의 발달 기전을 규명하고자 하며, 암의 이질성과 저항성, 당뇨병 관련 생물학적 마커의 임상적 적용 가능성 등에도 관심을 기울입니다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 질병의 조기 진단 및 맞춤형 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고자 합니다.

Metformin, a drug for type 2 diabetes mellitus, has shown therapeutic effects for various cancers. In this study, we investigated the effects of T-cell suppression on the pathogenesis of subgroup J avian leukosis virus (ALV-J).
