연구실 소개

윤창기 교수의 연구실은 망막 퇴행성 질환, 특히 망막증후군(RP)과 노인성 화도맥락성 황반변성(nAMD)을 중심으로 망막 구조와 기능의 상관관계를 분석합니다. 고해상도 산란광학간섭단층촬영(FD-OCT)과 다중 영상 모odal 이미징 기법을 활용해 망막 미세구조의 변화와 시각 기능 저하의 연관성을 규명하고 있으며, 특히 갈망세포와 내측 망막의 생존 메커니즘 및 산화 스트레스에 대한 세포 보호 작용에 대한 연구도 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 향후 신약 개발 및 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립에 기여할 임상의학적 기반을 마련하고자 합니다.

Ganglion cell‐inner plexiform layer and retinal nerve fibre layer changes within the macula in retinitis pigmentosa: a spectral domain optical coherence tomography study
