연구실 소개
윤현선 교수의 연구실은 주로 노화와 관련된 피부 변화, 특히 자외선 노출에 의한 노화(사진노화)에 대응하는 자연소재 기반의 항노화 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 항산화제인 아스티아잔틴과 콜라겐 수용체를 결합한 영양보조제의 피부 효과, 그리고 유산균과 유사한 미생물이 항병원성 면역 반응을 조절하는 메커니즘에 대한 기전 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 모델 생물인 선충(Caenorhabditis elegans)을 활용한 병원성 세균에 대한 저항성 향상 메커니즘 연구로, 신약 개발 및 기능성 식품 소재 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.
