이 교수의 연구실은 지속 가능한 식품 포장 기술 개발을 핵심으로 하며, 천연 유래 생분해성 소재와 활성 포장 기술을 활용한 신개념 포장재를 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 페놀 화합물 기반의 항산화 및 항균 기능을 가진 에디블 필름, 수소화젤 기반 생분해성 포장재, 탄소 큐브닷을 통합한 바이오폴리머 기반 포장재 등 다양한 생분해성 소재의 개발과 응용에 주력하고 있습니다. 환경 오염을 줄이고 식품 낭비를 최소화하는 데 기여할 수 있는 지속 가능한 포장 솔루션을 연구하는 데 목적이 있습니다.

ABSTRACT We prepared and characterized active, oxygen‐scavenging, low density polyethylene (LDPE) films from a non‐metallic‐based oxygen scavenging system (OSS) containing 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20% of gallic acid (GA) and potassium chloride (PC).
