Publication authorization
What this page is for
Nubint offers a publication authorization document for users who want to submit a figure to a publisher, journal, marketplace, client, or other external reviewer. This page explains what the document does and when you should download a new one.
What the authorization document is
- It is a platform-issued confirmation tied to a specific figure and export version.
- It shows that the figure was generated and/or edited in Nubint under an eligible paid plan (Plus and above).
- It is intended as supporting documentation for external review.
What it covers
- Commercial, academic, educational, and professional use of the identified figure, subject to the Nubint Terms of Service and your plan status.
- Limited permission to use any Nubint-created assets or protected platform elements incorporated into the identified figure.
- Minor post-export edits such as cropping, resizing, labeling, annotation, and layout adjustments.
What it does not mean
- It is not a copyright registration or government-issued certificate.
- It does not guarantee that a publisher, journal, marketplace, or platform will accept the figure.
- It does not transfer ownership of user-supplied text, data, reference images, or other external materials.
- It does not automatically apply to materially modified, re-generated, or newly exported versions of the figure.
- Nubint uses third-party models to generate figures. The document states the rights Nubint grants you; where a model provider's terms say otherwise, those terms apply.
When you should generate a new authorization
- If you materially change the composition, content, or design of the figure.
- If you regenerate the figure or export a new version for submission.
- If you combine the figure into a substantially different final submission asset.
What to send to a publisher or reviewer
- The final figure you intend to submit.
- The publication authorization PDF for that specific export version.
- Any citation, acknowledgment, or disclosure required by the target publisher or journal.
Quick reminder
The authorization document is meant to support a specific external-use scenario. It works best when it matches the final figure version you actually plan to send out. If the figure changes in a meaningful way, generate a new authorization document.
