Professor Dasom Lee's research lab focuses on the sociotechnical dimensions of energy transitions, particularly the interplay between emerging energy technologies, data governance, and social equity. The lab investigates privacy-preserving data practices in smart energy systems, community-driven energy initiatives, and the design of inclusive, participatory energy infrastructures. With a comparative, interdisciplinary lens, the lab explores how technological innovation intersects with governance, values such as equity and privacy, and civic engagement in North America and Europe.
