研究室紹介
Professor Deug-Cheon Han's research lab specializes in computational social science and digital culture analytics, focusing on how cultural values emerge and evolve through online collaborative behaviors. The lab employs large-scale data mining and network analysis of user-generated content—particularly from multilingual Wikipedia edits—to uncover culture-specific behavioral patterns. Key research directions include the digital manifestation of cultural dimensions such as collectivism, egalitarianism, and boldness, as well as the development of methods to detect and model cultural dynamics in virtual environments. The lab bridges sociology, computer science, and data science to explore the intersection of culture and technology in the digital age.
