研究室紹介

Professor Do-Keun Kim's research lab specializes in high-energy particle physics, with a primary focus on experimental particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The lab is actively involved in the CMS experiment at CERN, conducting cutting-edge research on Higgs boson properties, top quark physics, and quantum chromodynamics (QCD) through precision measurements of proton-proton collisions. The lab also contributes to the development of advanced detector systems, trigger algorithms, and event simulation tools, including new tunes for the Pythia8 event generator and studies of underlying event structures. Additionally, the lab is engaged in next-generation neutrino physics, particularly through contributions to the DUNE-PRISM program and near detector R&D for long-baseline neutrino experiments.
