Professor Dong Yeon Kim's research lab specializes in clinical anesthesiology and perioperative medicine, with a focus on optimizing postoperative pain management, improving airway management in complex surgical patients, and understanding the immunomodulatory effects of anesthetic agents. The lab investigates novel adjuvants for peripheral nerve blocks, such as dexamethasone and epinephrine, and explores the hemodynamic and cerebrovascular effects of stellate ganglion blocks using advanced imaging techniques.
