Professor Dong-Hyuk Park's research lab focuses on regenerative neuroscience and biomedical engineering, with a primary emphasis on stem cell-based therapies for neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease. The lab investigates the mechanisms underlying neural stem cell proliferation, survival, and differentiation, particularly using human-derived neural stem cells and umbilical cord blood cells in preclinical models.
