研究室紹介

Professor Duk Hee Lee's research lab focuses on interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of public health, economic systems, and technological innovation. The lab investigates health-related biomarkers such as gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) in predicting chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, while also examining the epidemiological patterns of infectious diseases such as hepatitis B in national populations. In parallel, the lab explores the structural role of key industries—particularly Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and energy sectors—within national economies, analyzing input-output linkages and diversification strategies in energy consumption and trade. Additionally, the lab examines institutional communication dynamics, including the role of government social media engagement in shaping public trust.

Min Jae Park, Dongsuk Kang, Jae Jeung Rho, Duk Hee Lee
SJR Q1Public Management Review

Citizens’ trust in a government is critical when the government utilizes Twitter to communicate with the public. Pil Sun Heo, Duk Hee Lee
SJR Q1Information Technology for Development

When assessing the structural role of an industry sector within an economic system, considering its relationship to other sectors is crucial. Among others, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, one of the innovation accelerators or key engines of economic growth, is evaluated. Specifically, we analyze inter-industry production inducement linkages within a qualitative input–output analysis framework, since it is useful for understanding the key structure of an economic system.

Abstract Mergers and acquisitions are important activities for the growth of firms. In the energy sector, acquiring firms can obtain eco‐friendly technology and premiums, as well as tangible assets, through the acquisition of energy firms.
