Professor Eun Ah Jo's research lab focuses on advancing clinical outcomes in vascular and renal diseases through innovative medical device applications, artificial intelligence in medical imaging, and precision monitoring of post-transplantation metabolic and immune responses. The lab specializes in endovascular interventions for aortic aneurysms, leveraging next-generation stent grafts to improve procedural efficiency and patient safety. It also conducts cutting-edge research in post-transplant diabetes mellitus using continuous glucose monitoring and AI-driven kidney volume analysis to predict long-term graft outcomes. Additionally, the lab explores machine learning applications in ophthalmology and immunological responses to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in vulnerable populations such as transplant recipients.

The analysis of I71.3 code for rAAA showed that only 43.0% were true rAAA and the remaining 57.0% were misdiagnosed. This indicates that the I71.3 code is overestimated in National Health Insurance-based data and that the true incidence of rAAA could be much lower.

본 논문에서는 2000년부터 2013년까지 우리나라의 일반은행, 지방은행 및 은행지주회사의 공시자료로부터 자료를 수집하여 은행의 위험관리 기능을 측정할 수 있는 다양한 변수를 구성하고 이들을 종합적으로 고려하기 위하여 주성분분석을 통해 위험관리지수(risk management index)를 산출하였다. 또한 위험관리지수를 이용하여 우리나라 은행의 내부적인 위험관리의 정도가 실제 위험 및 수익성에 미치는 영향을 패널회귀분석을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 직전연도 은행의 위험관리지수가 높을수록 당해 연도의 테일 리스크가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 국내은행에서 위험관리기능이 강력할수록 테일 리스크를 줄일 수 있음을 밝혔다. 한편, 위험관리기능이 VaR에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났는데 이러한 차이는 두 위험 측정치가 포착하는 위험의 성격에 차이가 있기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 즉, VaR은 정상적인 시장 여건 하에서 발생할 수 있는 최대 손실을 측정하는 반면

The prevalence of dominant or codominant C1q deposition in transplanted renal allograft biopsies was 1.6%. Most cases did not have any other accompanying glomerular changes. The follow-up biopsies of these allografts showed spontaneous disappearance or diminished staining of C1q deposition. These findings suggest that C1q deposition found in renal allografts is most likely clinically benign, although this possibility should be confirmed in further large-scale studies.

본 논문에서는 2004년부터 2015년까지 국내 중소기업을 대상으로 성향점수짝짓기(Propensity Score Matching) 방법을 이용하여 상장이 투자에 미치는 효과에 대해 연구하였다. 분석 결과 상장 중소기업의 연구개발 투자 규모는 비상장 중소기업에 비해 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 신규상장 중소기업은 상장으로 조달된 자금을 유형자산 투자와 연구개발 투자에 모두 사용하지만 상장 이전에 레버리지가 높았던 기업들은 조달 자금을 유형자산 투자에 사용하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 신규상장 중소기업을 대상으로 한 이중차이법(Difference-in-differences) 분석 결과에서는, 상장 이후 유형자산 투자보다는 연구개발 투자의 증가가 상대적으로 더 뚜렷하게 나타남을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 최근 부각되고 있는 중소기업 자금조달 창구로서의 주식시장의 역할은 유형자산에 대한 투자 확대보다는 연구개발 투자 촉진에 상대적으로 더 유효할 수 있음을 시사한다.
