Professor Eun Hee Lee's research lab focuses on pharmaceutical solid-state science, particularly the thermodynamics and characterization of polymorphic forms in drug development. The lab also investigates microbial resistance mechanisms, especially efflux pump systems in pathogenic bacteria like Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and explores the therapeutic potential of natural compounds such as spirulina in metabolic disorders. Additionally, the lab examines the biological impact of environmental particulates, including silica-induced lung fibrosis, and investigates the role of endogenous proteins like apolipoprotein A1 in disease resolution. The integration of molecular mechanisms with translational applications defines the lab’s interdisciplinary approach.
