Professor Eun-Kyu Kim's research lab focuses on advancing personalized cancer care through multimodal imaging biomarkers, immune microenvironment characterization, and innovative surgical and reconstructive outcomes. The lab investigates radiomics and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) to predict treatment response and prognosis in breast cancer, particularly triple-negative and locally advanced subtypes. It also explores the application of deep learning for cosmetic outcome assessment and surgical optimization, including seroma reduction after axillary dissection. The integration of imaging, pathology, and artificial intelligence defines the lab’s translational approach to improving patient outcomes.
