Professor Eunho Lee's research lab specializes in the development of advanced two-dimensional (2D) materials and heterostructures for next-generation electronic and neuromorphic devices. The lab focuses on low-temperature synthesis methods—particularly chemical vapor deposition (CVD) using tailored solid carbon sources—enabling high-quality graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) such as MoS₂ on flexible and dielectric substrates. A key research direction involves engineering defects and interfaces in 2D materials to enhance their electrical, mechanical, and neuromorphic properties, with applications in energy-efficient computing and flexible electronics. The lab also pioneers innovative material processing techniques, such as UV/ozone treatment and ion-assisted sputtering, to achieve precise control over film morphology and interfacial bonding.
