Professor Eunyoung Choi's research lab focuses on the intersection of ophthalmology, biomedical imaging, and molecular mechanisms underlying ocular and neurological diseases. Her team investigates diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, and retinal disorders such as central serous chorioretinopathy, with an emphasis on early biomarkers, neurovascular changes, and advanced imaging techniques. The lab integrates clinical studies with preclinical models and cutting-edge technologies like optical coherence tomography, confocal microscopy, and deep learning for diagnostic prediction.
