대학생의 진로역량개발에 대한 대학 특성 요인의 영향 분석: 층위 간 상호작용효과를 중심으로

학생들은 대학교육을 통해서 더 나은 일자리와 진로를 기대하지만, 최근까지 대학졸업생 두 명 가운데 한 명 정도만이 취업에 성공하고 있다. 정부도 다양한 방안을 마련하여 대학을 지원하고 있으나, 가시적인 성과가 나타나지 않고 있다. 최근 몇 년간 전체적으로는 4년제 대학의 취업률에 큰 변화가 없지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 성별, 전공 간 및 대학 간 차이는 다소 크게 나타나고 있으며, 특히 대학 간 차이는 상대적으로 큰 편이다. 이와 같은 대학별 취업성과의 차이에도 불구하고 이러한 차이에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 연구는 거의 수행되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구는 전국 4년제 51개 대학 5,503명의 3, 4학년 대학생들을 대상으로 조사한 자료와 사회인지진로이론(SCCT)을 기초로 수정된 연구모형을 활용해서 위계적선형모형(HLM)을 통해 대학의 특성이 학생의 진로역량개발에 어떤 영향을 주는지 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대학의 진로지원에 대한 만족도와 입학난이도에 따라 학생들의 평균 진로역량 개

한국 대학효과 연구의 최근 동향

최근 들어 국내외적으로 대학교육의 성과에 대한 관심이 커지고 관련 연구들이 발표되고 있으나, 아직까지 국내에서는 대학이 학생들에게 어떤 영향을 주는지("대학효과")에 관한 종합적인 문헌검증이 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 따라, 이 연구는 최근 국내 대학효과 관련 연구들을 분석하여 이 분야의 최근 동향과 주요 성과 및 과제를 파악하려고 하였다. 교육학 분야에서 발표된 학술논문들을 최대한 포함하기 위해서, Cooper와 Robinson(1997) 등이 제안한 문헌검색 방법에 기초하여 문헌을 수집했다. 그 결과 2006년부터 2011년까지 최근 6년간 교육학 관련 등재(후보)학술지 가운데 대학 효과에 관한 논문을 게재한 21개 학술지 207편의 논문이 대상문헌으로 선정되었다. 문헌분석은 문헌검증 방법 가운데 서술적 분석과 주제별 분석에 중점을 두고 수행하였다. 분석결과, 최근 6년 동안 대학효과 관련 연구가 60% 증가하였고 방법론적 측면과 내용적 측면에서 많은 성과가 있었다. 대학효과 연구
