The purpose of this study was to analyze the planning guideline of space size for public library according to the total floor area and regional location of library. The 49 cases were chosen from the data of libraries built after the year 2000. 도서관의 역할과 기능은 현대에 들어 점점 그 범위가 확대되어지고 있다. 특히 20세기에 들어서는 공공도서관이 복합문화공간이라는 형태로 다양한 문화적 콘텐츠를 포함하고 있어, 도서관의 본래 기능인 도서의 열람, 대출 외에도 커뮤니티 시설로써 문화적 기능이 요구됨에 따라 지역주민들의 문화 및 여가활동을 지원하는 다양한 실들이 추가되는 등 이용자의 문화적 욕구를 충족시키고 있다. 공공도서관의 복합화는 단순히 문화적 기능을 포함하는 시설에 그치지 않고, 공공문화복지시설 및 상업적 목적의 시설과도 결합하여 용도와 타겟, 시설의 성격이 유사한 것들을 함께 묶어 조금 더 폭넓은 개념으로 복합화의 범주를 정의한다. 본 연구에서는 도서정책기획단에서 발표한 2010년 12월 31일 기준 공공도서관 759개관을 대상으로 복합화의 유무와 168개 광역 및 기초 자치단체 중 공공도서관이 어디에 속하고 자치단체가 각각 얼마만큼의 공공도서관을 산하에 두고 있음을 조사하였다. 또한 759개관 공공도서관을 현

본 연구는 2012년 공공도서관 건축사례집에 있는 사례와 2009년부터 2012년까지 진행된 공공도서관 건립•운영컨설팅 사례 중 총 20개관을 대상으로 각 영역별, 기능별 면적비율에 대하여 진행하였다. 영역 분류는 자료열람영역, 문화교육영역, 관리영역, 공용영역 및 기타영역으로 분류할 수 있었으며, 각 영역별 면적비율은 공공도서관 건립•운영컨설팅 비대상관(A그룹)과 대상관(B그룹) 상호간에 큰 변화가 있었다. 이와 같은 현상은 공공도서관이 학습과 자료의 분류 및 저장의 장소에서 지역 커뮤니티 장소로 변화라고 판단된다. 자료열람실에서 자료영역과 열람석영역의 기능별 면적비율은 모두 비슷하였으며 안내영역은 약간의 차이가 있었다. 그러나 일반자료열람실은 운영방식의 변화로 자료정리 및 사무공간을 확보하기 위하여 안내영역 면적비율을 12%로 조정하고 서가영역과 열람석영역은 각 44%로 하였다. 또한 어린이자료열람실에서 안내영역과 유아영역 면적비율은 각 14%로 조정하였으며 자료영역은 서가 3단

공공도서관 건립 증가에 따라 전문가의 컨설팅 요구가 급증하고 있다. 본 연구는 2009년부터 2011년까지 문화체육관광부에서 진행한 공공도서관 건립 컨설팅지원사업의 결과를 컨설팅 전과 후의 공간구성과 면적비율의 비교를 통해 살펴봄으로써 정보열람, 평생교육, 문화활동, 업무관리 등 도서관 각부 영역의 적정 공간규모계획기준에 대한 방향을 분석하여 컨설팅진행의 방향성과 효율성을 제고하고 적절한 공간규모산정의 기준을 재정립하기 위함이다. 연구의 대상은 결과보고서에 소개된 11개관을 대상으로 하였다. 컨설팅 전과 후에 있어서 자료열람부문의 비율은 6.4%가 증가하였으며 공용부문은 6.1%감소하였으며, 관리부문과 문화부문은 큰 변화는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 공공도서관의 본래의 의미인 정보의 축적과 공공화에 충실하도록 자료열람공간의 확보를 나타내며 통합관리의 효율성을 확보하기 위한 것으로 판단된다. 해당지역의 인구와 공공도서관 면적에 따라 신규 건립도서관의 지위별 역할분담이 달라질 수 있으

대학도서관을 방문하는 주목적 중 하나는 자율학습을 위한 일반열람실 사용이다. 또한 열람실에 머무는 시간이 많기 때문에 열람실의 환경이 사용자의 프라이버시나 학습효율에 영향을 미친다. 이에 본 연구는 일반열람실의 공간구성요소별 현황을 파악하고 만족도를 조사하여 향후 일반열람실 계획방향 및 기준을 제시하였다. 선행연구에서 8가지 실내공간구성요소를 추출하고 이것을 기준으로 사례관의 현황을 조사 분석하였고, 각 요소에 관해 프라이버시, 학습효율 측면에서의 사용자 만족도를 조사했다. 사례관의 자유열람실 실내공간구성요소는 현재 제시되고 있는 기준에 적합했고 창의 면적은 기준에 미달했다. 그러나 사용자 만족도를 조사한 결과, 기준에 적합해도 만족도가 낮은 경우가 있었고, 기준에 부적합해도 만족도가 높은 경우가 있었다. 각 실내공간요소에 대한 만족도와 일반열람실에 대한 전체만족도의 상관성을 분석해본 결과 1좌석 면적, 창의 면적, 소음 처리, 책상 배치 간격 항목 만족도가 전체만족도와 상관성을 보

현대인의 식생활 문화의 변화, 삶의 질 향상 등으로 커피 관련 산업은 최근 급속도록 성장하고 있다. 커피전문점의 활성화는 커피전문점이 단지 커피만을 마시는 곳이 아니라 하나의 문화공간으로 인식하게 하였으며, 이에 따라 차별화된 공간 디자인 전략은 소비자가 커피전문점을 선택하는데 중요한 요인이 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 커피전문점 브랜드의 공간 디자인 전략을 분석하고, 이러한 공간 디자인 전략이 소비자에게 어떻게 인식되며, 고객의 만족도와 재방문 의사에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는 지에 대해 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구결과 커피전문점의 만족도, 전략 반영도, 재방문 의도 간의 관계는 브랜드에서 제시한 공간 전략이 잘 반영되어 있다고 인지될수록 전반적 만족도도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공간 전략 반영도와 만족도가 높을수록 고객의 재방문 의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 브랜드가 브랜드만의 개성있는 공간 전략을 잘 수립하여 반영하는 것이 만족도와 재방문 의사를 높이는 것이라고

현재 공공도서관의 세부소요공간의 규모기준에 대한 자료는 국내 상황에 맞는 적절한 기준이 충분하지 못하다. 본 연구는 우수도서관으로 선정된 공공도서관의 분석을 통해 세부소요공간별 공간구성의 특징과 면적규모에 대하여 파악하여 이를 공공도서관 건립·운영 매뉴얼의 규모지침과 비교분석함을 통해 매뉴얼의 유효성에 대한 검증과 더불어 국내실정에 맞는 적절한 지침과 기준을 확립하는데 도움이 되도록 한다. 이상의 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반자료열람부문은 실별 구성 보다는 통합된 자료실로 운영되고 있었으며 정보의 형식과 열람방식이 다른 멀티미디어열람실이 다른 공간에 분리되어 설치된 경우가 다수였다. 둘째, 일반자료열람부문의 면적비율은 매뉴얼의 지침기준보다 조사대상관의 수치가 더 적게 나타났다. 이는 국내 공공도서관이 문화교육 등 지역의 커뮤니티 시설로서 역할이 확장된 현상이라고 판단된다. 셋째, 어린이자료열람영역은 충분한 장서량을 보유하고 있는 것으로 나타나 선진화된 모형으로
