Professor Hye Bin Lee's research lab focuses on integrating multi-omics technologies, machine learning, and neuroimaging to uncover the biological and clinical underpinnings of cancer and neurological disorders. The lab investigates metabolic reprogramming in cancer—particularly in aggressive subtypes like triple-negative breast cancer—while also exploring the neural correlates of metabolic and cognitive phenotypes, such as BMI-related brain network organization. A key direction involves developing objective, data-driven diagnostic tools using patient-reported symptoms and liquid biopsy proteomics to improve classification and prognosis in complex diseases like bladder cancer and headache disorders. The lab also applies advanced imaging and adaptive radiotherapy metrics to refine treatment personalization in head and neck cancers.
