研究室紹介
Professor Hye-jin Kwon's research lab specializes in the study of traditional Korean textile arts, with a focus on embroidery, ceremonial textiles such as *hwal-ot* and *inmunbomja*, and the cultural significance of decorative objects in Joseon Dynasty society. The lab explores the historical evolution, artistic techniques, and socio-cultural roles of these textiles, particularly within royal and elite households, using comparative analysis of domestic and international museum collections. It also investigates the psychological and emotional dimensions of care work, especially among early childhood educators, through the lens of emotional labor and psychological well-being.
