Professor Hye-Yeon Seo's research lab focuses on oncology nursing and cancer survivorship care, with an emphasis on improving patient outcomes through knowledge dissemination and psychological support. The lab investigates hereditary breast cancer awareness, anxiety management in cancer patients, and the implementation of survivorship care practices among oncology nurses in Korea. Additionally, the lab explores molecular imaging techniques, particularly using 64Cu-labeled tracers to detect endogenous hydrogen sulfide, a key gasotransmitter involved in inflammation and hypoxia. These interdisciplinary efforts bridge clinical nursing science with molecular imaging innovation.
