Professor Hyun Jin Kim's research lab specializes in advanced millimeter-wave (mmWave) antenna systems and integrated radio frequency (RF) technologies for next-generation wireless communications, particularly 5G and beyond. The lab focuses on innovative antenna-in-package (AiP) designs, multi-antenna arrays, and compact mmWave modules that enable high performance, wide bandwidth, and efficient power combining in constrained form factors. 볼트접합 앵글을 사용한 PSRC 합성기둥의 편심 압축실험

볼트접합 앵글을 사용한 선조립-SRC 합성기둥(이하 PSRC 합성기둥)의 구조성능을 평가하기 위하여 PSRC 기둥실험체 6개와 일반SRC 기둥실험체 2개에 대하여 편심축 압축실험을 수행하였다. 횡보강재의 수직간격 및 단면형상과 축하중의 편심율을 실험변수로 고려하였다. 실험결과, 편심율이 큰 경우 PSRC 실험체는 단면 코너에 위치한 고강성 앵글로 인하여 압축하중 재하능력 및 변형능력이 기존 SRC 실험체보다 향상되었다. PSRC 기둥 실험체에서 횡방향 강판의 좁은 횡보강 간격과 Z형 단면의 횡방향 강판은 우수한 횡구속력을 제공하였으며, 하중재하능력을 향상시켰다. 실험 및 수치해석을 통한 합성기둥의 휨·압축 강도는 현행설계기준에 의한 휨-압축 상관도를 상회하였다. 수치해석결과는각 실험체의 강성, 최대강도, 최대하중 이후 강도감소거동을 비교적 잘 예측하였다.

Effects of Priming on Seed Germination of Gymnaster koraiensis under Low Temperature

Gymnaster koraiensis (Nakai) Kitam. seeds had low germination or lack of germination uniformity under low temperature conditions. To improve the final germination percentage (FGP) of G. koraiensis seeds under low temperatures, we investigated proper priming treatments. Priming with KNO3 solutions enhanced FGP when G. koraiensis seeds were germinated at 12℃. 이 연구는 헌법재판소가 대의 민주주의에서 대표(representation)를 구현할 수있는 행위자로 확장되고 있다는 점을 주장하고 있다. 헌법재판소의 행위자 확대현상을 민주주의 틀 속에서 어떻게 해석해내느냐 하는 것이 이 연구의 궁극적인목적이다. 헌법재판소는 탄핵 과정을 통해 국회와 대통령 그리고 국민 여론과의관계에서 전략적 판단을 통해 제도적 기관으로서의 위치를 공고히 하고 있으며 민주적 정당성을 담보하는 행위자로 민주적 역할을 확장하고 있다. 정치 행위자의다양성과 의사 결정 과정의 포용성이 수용될 때 사법심사의 민주적 정당성이 확보될 수 있는 통로가 마련될 수 있다. 헌법재판소가 정치 과정에서 행위자로 기능하고 있다는 것을 합리적으로 주장하기 위해서 이 연구는 선거와 투표를 중심으로해석하는 정치 과정에 대한 협소한 관점을 확대하고 중첩적 다수를 강조하는 이원적 민주주의관과 헌정 민주주의의 통합을 그 대안으로 제시하고 있다.

Influence of Dry Storage Duration, Gibberellic Acid, and Priming on Germination of Aster koraiensis at Low Temperature

The germination response of the Korean daisy (Aster koraiensis) seeds was evaluated under conditions of low temperature (12℃) to determine the effects of dry storage duration, GA (GA3 and GA4+7), and priming. The effects of priming on germination at alternating temperatures (8/2, 15/9, 22/16, or 29/23℃) were also investigated. In seeds collected in 2007, the final germination percentage (FGP) of untreated seeds at constant 12℃ was 24, 29, and 37% for 3, 5, and 8 months stored seeds, respectively
