Professor Hyung-ju Lee's research lab focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly in patients with spinal deformities and post-stroke mobility impairments. The lab investigates therapeutic exercise interventions such as the Schroth method for scoliosis and innovative ankle training equipment for hemiplegic gait. It also explores biomedical applications of cellular signaling, including purinergic receptors in adipocyte differentiation, and develops m-Health solutions for people with disabilities to improve lifestyle management and health outcomes.
