Professor Hyung-Jung Lee's research lab specializes in cerebrovascular diseases, with a primary focus on aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) and intracerebral hemorrhage. The lab investigates prognostic factors, neuroprotective treatments such as Cerebrolysin, and environmental influences—including meteorological and air pollution factors—on stroke incidence and outcomes. Research directions include developing predictive scoring systems (e.g., combining GCS and modified Fisher scale), evaluating treatment efficacy in different patient subgroups, and exploring diurnal and seasonal patterns in stroke occurrence.
