BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Paresis of the upper extremity after stroke is not effectively solved by existing therapies. We investigated whether mental imagery training combined with electromyogram-triggered electric stimulation improved motor function of the paretic upper extremity in patients with chronic stroke and induced cortical changes. Abstract The study aims to evaluate whether bone scintigraphy is effective in diagnosing temporomandibular joint (TMJ) osteoarthritis (OA) in juvenile patients. A retrospective study was conducted with 356 consecutive patients with TMJ–OA who were clinically assessed according to the Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders. SUVmax may be predictive for <i>EGFR</i> mutational status, and MTV and TLG of primary tumors may be promising prognostic parameters; <sup>18</sup>F-FDG PET/CT has potential utility for the risk stratification of <i>EGFR</i>-mutated patients treated with targeted therapy.

AIM: We aimed to investigate whether 3'-deoxy-3'-[(18)F]fluorothymidine ([(18)F]FLT) positron emission tomography (PET) can estimate thymidine kinase 1 (TK1) activity after thymidylate synthase (TS) inhibition by 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in a mouse tumor model. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Nude mice with HT29 tumors were injected with phosphate-buffered saline or 5-FU (16.7 or 50 mg/kg). Twenty-four hours later, 2-hour dynamic images were acquired after injection of [(18)F]FLT. In another group of mice w
