Professor Jeong-Hoon Shin's research lab focuses on cardiovascular health, particularly the interplay between vascular health, systemic inflammation, and chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension, and retinal vascular disorders. The lab investigates the role of arterial stiffness and subclinical atherosclerosis in predicting cardiovascular outcomes and explores non-pharmacological interventions like Tai Chi for vascular protection.
