研究室紹介
Professor Jeong Min Oh's research lab focuses on the intersection of healthcare, mobility, and emerging digital technologies, with a strong emphasis on clinical applications of Korean medicine and physiological monitoring. The lab investigates health-related quality of life, sarcopenia, and dizziness through integrative medicine approaches, while also exploring the role of autonomic nervous system responses in physiological stress. Additionally, the lab examines human-centered mobility systems, particularly speech emotion recognition in noisy driving environments and the potential of Metaverse technologies in automotive design and user experience. These diverse research directions reflect a commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovative, technology-driven healthcare solutions.

15The automotive and mobility industries have re-cently been interested in Metaverse, the complex virtual space, as the primary research item because of its flexibility and scalability in product development and design. In addition to this trend, current Metaverse applications and proposals suggest that Metaverse has the potential to enable users to experience products and services from various perspectives. To expand this potential beyond these trends and applications, we need to find the possibl
Dizziness is one of the most common symptoms in clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of patients with dizziness who visited Korean medicine hospital. This study analyzed 328 patients with dizziness who visited Dunsan Korean Medicine Hospital of Dae-Jeon University from Nov. 1st, 2012 to Oct. 31st, 2014. We gathered the data of the patients based on the medical charts. The patients were divided into 4 gorups ; central dizziness group, peripheral dizz
This is a case report on a deep vein thrombosis(DVT) patient whose pain, numbness, and swelling in the left leg have been decreased with Korean Medicine. The 59 year-old male patient who was diagnosed with DVT and showed the classic symptoms of DVT(pain, numbness and swelling in the left leg). Although he was treated with medication(100mg of aspirin, 20mg of rivaroxaban) for five weeks, his symptoms did not improved. Then, he was gaven Sunkihwalhyul-tang three times a day and Jungsongouhyul phar
In mobility service environments, recognizing the user condition and driving status is critical in driving safety and experiences. While speech emotion recognition is one of the possible features to predict the driver status, current emotion recognition models have a fundamental limitation: they target to classify only single emotion classes, not multi-classes. It prevents the comprehensive understanding of the driver’s condition and intention during driving. In addition, mobility devices inhere
Sarcopenia is defined as a loss of muscle mass leading to decreased muscle strength, physical activity, and increased mortality. Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) has been identified as a factor in various medical outcomes including death, and has become an important consideration in healthcare
Purpose: Human body under cold stress (CS) causes physiological responses through autonomic nerve reaction (ANR); it accompanies cardiovascular changes and thus will be reflected on radial pressure pulse (RPP). This study aims to explore the effects of CS on RPP and investigate some indices which can reflect ANR. Methods: Sixty subjects participated in the study at normothermic conditions by immersing their legs into 15 ◦C water for 5minutes. RPP and respiration signals were recorded before the
In this paper, we propose a fine-tuning approach to enhance the detection models using generated data in virtual environments. At first, we investigated the details of object detection models and analyzed their structures. For training models, we generated data within a virtual environment constructed using the Isaac Sim module on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform. We evaluated the performance of our trained models on both virtual environment data and real-world data, and tuned our models with real
