Professor Jeong-Seok Park's research lab focuses on immunology and molecular mechanisms underlying T cell development, activation, and homeostasis, with particular emphasis on signaling molecules such as CD5, LAT, and costimulatory receptors. The lab investigates how these molecules regulate T cell receptor signaling, thymic selection, and immune tolerance, and explores the roles of microRNAs, natural compounds like fisetin and melatonin, and phytochemicals such as rosmarinic acid in modulating inflammation, oxidative stress, and allergic responses. The research integrates molecular immunology with translational approaches to understand and treat autoimmune diseases, cancer, and allergic disorders.
