Professor Ji Eun Park's research lab specializes in clinical and translational research with a focus on critical care medicine, maternal health, and reproductive biology. The lab investigates prognostic biomarkers such as the CRP/albumin ratio in ICU patients, explores risk factors for pregnancy-related thromboembolism using large-scale population data, and examines reproductive physiology through studies on oocyte maturation and follicular fluid. Additionally, the lab applies machine learning to improve clinical decision-making, such as predicting weaning outcomes in mechanically ventilated patients. The integration of clinical data, biomarker discovery, and advanced analytics defines the lab’s multidisciplinary approach to improving patient outcomes.

학령전기 경직형 하지마비 아동이 산출한 모음의 음향음성학적 특징. 언어청각장애연구, 2004, 제9권, 제2호, 116-128. 본 연구의 목적은 학령전기 경직형 하지마비 아동이 모음발성 시 어떤 음향음성학적 특징을 보이고 있는지에 대해 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 만2세에서 6세 사이의 경직형 하지마비 아동군 15명과 정상 아동군 9명의 모음연장발성 수행 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 최대연장발성지속시간, 주파수변동률, 진폭변동률, 소음 대 배음 비율에서 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 보여 뇌성마비 아동군이 호흡능력이 저하되어 있으며, 성대조절능력이 부족하여 발성 기능 또한 저하된 것이 관찰되었다. 최대연장발성지속시간의 경우 정상 아동은 연령이 증가할수록 최대연장발성지속시간이 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 뇌성마비 아동은 연령에 따른 상관을 보이지 않았다. 기본주파수와 모음의 제1포먼트, 제2포먼트에서는 뇌성마비 아동군과 정상 아동군 간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 이는 상대

국내 여성공학 프로그램의 확산을 위하여 미국, 유럽, 호주의 프로그램을 분석하였다. 이들 국가에서는 이미 1970년대부터 공학 분야의 낮은 여성의 참여율에 주목하고, 이를 개선하기 위한 많은 연구와 프로그램이 수행되었다. 연구들은 여성의 참여율이 저조한 원인으로 K-12 단계에서 수학과 과학의 기피, 교육과정에서 여성을 다르게 취급하는 “차가운 교육환경 (chilly climate)”, 그리고 공학계의 남성 중심의 문화 등을 지목하고 있다. 프로그램 측면에서는 여성과 교육시스템에 대해 종합적인 접근법을 사용하여 각 단계 학교와 대학뿐만 아니라 다양한 지역단체를 활용하여 초등학생부터 대학원생, 그리고 학부모, 교사, 교수, 교육 행정가들을 위한 프로그램이 시행되고 있다. 이러한 프로그램의 국내 도입을 위해서는 국내 공학전공 여학생이 처한 환경에 대한 실태 파악이 우선되어야 하며, 범 국가전인 정책과 재정 지원을 바탕으로 공학계 전체가 교육 제도, 환경, 문화를 바꾸어 가야 한다.
