Professor Ji-Eun Park's research lab specializes in health and biomedical sciences, with a focus on adolescent mental health, eating behaviors, and body composition, particularly examining the interplay between psychological stress, depression, binge eating, and obesity in high school students. The lab also conducts advanced anthropometric research using 3D body scanning technology to analyze age-related and demographic-specific changes in foot morphology among elderly and middle-aged men, aiming to improve the design and functionality of footwear. Additionally, the lab engages in molecular and pharmaceutical research, including the development of novel drug delivery methods such as pharmacopuncture and the detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in food through highly sensitive multiplex PCR techniques. These diverse research directions reflect a strong commitment to translational health sciences, from clinical psychology to biotechnology and public health safety.

10본 연구에서는 수도권 고등학교에 재학중인 여고생 120 명을 대상으로 설문지를 통하여 스트레스, 우울 및 폭식 정도와 식행동을 조사하고 신체계측을 통하여 체질량지수(BMI) 를 산출하여 이들 변수의 관련성을 분석하여 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자 120명의 평균 연령은 17.6 ± 0.6세이었으며, 평균 신장은 161.6 ± 5.0 cm, 평균 체중은 54.8 ± 8.2 kg이었다. 평균 BMI는 21.0 ± 2.9 kg/m2 , 비만도 분포는저체중이 16.7%(20명), 정상체중이 65.8%(79명), 과체중이 17.5%(21명)이었다. 2. 대상자의 BMI가 증가할수록 스트레스, 우울, 폭식정도가 유의적으로 높게 나타났고 스트레스, 우울, 폭식 정도가증가함에 따라 식행동이 유의적으로 좋지 않음을 나타내었다. 또한 우울 정도가 심할수록 스트레스와 폭식 정도 또한높게 나타났다. 3. 스트레스, 우울 정도가 높을수록 식행동에서 식사 횟수및 식사시간이 불규칙한 것으로 나
