Professor Ji Soo Choi's research lab specializes in clinical and translational studies focusing on neuropathic pain, respiratory diseases, and nutritional biomarkers in chronic conditions. The lab investigates the therapeutic potential of acupuncture for neuropathic pain using behavioral and electrophysiological models, while also exploring prognostic indicators such as the Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI) in patients with mycobacterium avium complex pulmonary disease and non-HIV Pneumocystis pneumonia.
