Professor Ji Yeon Lee's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research with a strong emphasis on clinical pharmacology, infectious diseases, and metabolic bone disorders. The lab investigates host genetic factors influencing drug response—particularly cytochrome P450 polymorphisms in autoimmune diseases like lupus—and explores diagnostic strategies for challenging infections such as extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Additionally, the lab examines the pathophysiology and management of vitamin D deficiency in pediatric populations, linking molecular mechanisms to clinical outcomes. The integration of molecular diagnostics, pharmacogenomics, and clinical biomarkers defines the lab’s interdisciplinary approach.

Neurilemomas and neurofibromas appear as round soft tissue masses at CT. Variable enhancement with either homogeneity or heterogeneity is seen in neurilemomas. Although high-dose intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is generally considered a safe medication for various immune-mediated diseases, thrombotic events have been reported as a complication of the therapy.
