Professor Jin Young Yeo's research lab specializes in data-driven decision making and intelligent systems, with a strong focus on leveraging big data and artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems in healthcare, e-commerce, and travel planning. The lab develops advanced machine learning and natural language processing techniques—particularly using large language models and deep learning—for clinical reasoning, customer behavior prediction, and personalized recommendation systems. In sentence classification tasks, additional contexts, such as the neighboring sentences, may improve the accuracy of the classifier. This paper covers a sales forecasting problem on e-commerce sites. To predict product sales, we need to understand customers' browsing behavior and identify whether it is for purchase purpose or not. In this paper, we propose to leverage the unique characteristics of dialogues sharing commonsense knowledge across participants, to resolve the difficulties in summarizing them. We present SICK, a framework that uses commonsense inferences as additional context.
