Torque Distribution Algorithm for an Independently Driven Electric Vehicle Using a Fuzzy Control Method
Jinhyun Park, Houn Jeong, In Sung Jang, Sung‐Ho Hwang
SJR Q1EnergiesOA

The in-wheel electric vehicle is expected to be a popular next-generation vehicle because an in-wheel system can simplify the powertrain and improve driving performance. In addition, it also has an advantage in that it maximizes driving efficiency through independent torque control considering the motor efficiency. However, there is an instability problem if only the driving torque is controlled in consideration of only the motor efficiency. In this paper, integrated torque distribution strategi

Regulators on additive higher Chow groups
Jinhyun Park
SJR Q1American Journal of Mathematics

As an attempt to understand motives over $k[x]/(x^m)$, we define the cubical additive higher Chow groups with modulus for all dimensions extending the works of S. Bloch, H. Esnault and K. R\"ulling on $0$-dimensional cycles. We give an explicit construction of regulator maps on the groups of $1$-cycles with an aid of the residue theory of A. Parshin and V. Lomadze.

SJR Q2Nuclear Engineering and TechnologyOA

Accurate and consistent characterization of defects in steam generator tubes (SGT) in nuclear power plants is one of the key issues in the field of nondestructive testing since the large number of signals to be analyzed in a time-limited in-service inspection causes a serious problem in practice. This paper presents an effective approach to this difficult task of automated classification of motorized rotating pancake coil (MRPC) eddy current flaw acquired from tube specimens with deliberated def

On additive higher Chow groups of affine schemes
Jinhyun Park, Amalendu Krishna
SJR Q1Documenta MathematicaOA

We show that the multivariate additive higher Chow groups of a smooth affine k -scheme \mathrm{Spec} (R) essentially of finite type over a perfect field k of characteristic \not = 2 form a differential graded module over the big de Rham–Witt complex \mathbb W_{m}\Omega ^bullet_R. In the univariate case, we show that additive higher Chow groups of \mathrm{Spec} (R) form a Witt-complex over R . We use these structures to prove an étale descent for multivariate additive higher Chow groups.

SJR Q1Frontiers in PsychiatryOA

Introduction: Machine learning (ML) is an effective tool for predicting mental states and is a key technology in digital psychiatry. This study aimed to develop ML algorithms to predict the upper tertile group of various anxiety symptoms based on multimodal data from virtual reality (VR) therapy sessions for social anxiety disorder (SAD) patients and to evaluate their predictive performance across each data type. Methods: This study included 32 SAD-diagnosed individuals, and finalized a dataset

Torque Distribution Algorithm for an Independently Driven Electric Vehicle Using a Fuzzy Control Method: Driving Stability and Efficiency
Jinhyun Park, In Sung Jang, Sung‐Ho Hwang
SJR Q1EnergiesOA

In this paper, an integrated torque distribution strategy was developed to improve the stability and efficiency of the vehicle. To improve the stability of the low friction road surface, the vertical and lateral forces of the vehicle were estimated and the estimated forces were used to determine the driving torque limit. A turning stability index comprised of vehicle velocity and desired yaw rate was proposed to examine the driving stability of the vehicle while turning. The proposed index was u

System Invariant Method for Ultrasonic Flaw Classification in Weldments Using Residual Neural Network
Jinhyun Park, Seung‐Eun Lee, Hak-Joon Kim, Sung-Jin Song, Sung-Sik Kang
SJR Q2Applied SciencesOA

The industrial use of ultrasonic flaw classification using neural networks in weldments must overcome many challenges. A major constraint is the use of numerous systems, including a combination of transducers and equipment. This causes high complexity in the datasets used in the training of neural networks, which decreases performance. In this study, the performance of a neural network was enhanced using signal processing on an ultrasonic weldment flaw dataset to achieve system invariance. The d

Motivic Cohomology of Fat Points in Milnor Range
Jinhyun Park, Sı̇nan Ünver
FIZ-Karlsruhe (eLiBM)OA

We introduce a new algebraic-cycle model for the motivic cohomology theory of truncated polynomials $k[t]/(t^m)$ in one variable. This approach uses ideas from the deformation theory and non-archimedean analysis, and is distinct from the approaches via cycles with modulus. We compute the groups in the Milnor range when the base field is of characteristic $0$, and prove that they give the Milnor $K$-groups of $k[t]/(t^m)$, whose relative part is the sum of the absolute K\"ahler differential forms
