研究室紹介
Professor Jitaek Lim's research lab focuses on innovative architectural design and construction methodologies, particularly the open housing system and architectural precast concrete (APC) techniques, to enable dynamic, modular, and constructable building forms. The lab explores spatial modularity in multi-residential buildings, emphasizing design freedom through standardized yet flexible structural systems. It also engages in urban regeneration, especially in rural communities, by analyzing and developing strategic plans for compact city development, public space enhancement, and sustainable town revitalization. The lab bridges architectural innovation with practical construction solutions, particularly in the context of aging populations and declining rural areas in South Korea.

7Open housing construction techniques are used to construct structures with columns and slabs, breaking away from a uniform, box-shaped design, which makes it possible to design using modules on the freebuilding envelope. Since it is possible to construct a slab under extreme conditions by using the system formwork, It is usedsimultaneously with the APC( Architectural precast concrete ) to enable a free design in the design of a building. The use of APC (Architectural Test Concrete) with the Open
In this study, a reference plane module of the multi-residential building is proposed for applying open housing method. It makes possible to procure a degree of freedom on the elevation design, especially by introducing the Architectural Precast Concrete(APC) panel. A spatial common bay-width was found by analyzing typical spatial units of Korean multi-residential buildings and modularized by a 3-story unit plane. It consists of two mesonnette units and two plane units. The building was classifi
Due to population decline and aging, many rural towns have become increasingly declining, and the government has been carrying out the rural town regeneration project to activate central area with the concept of compact city. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies and plans promoted in the rural town regeneration projects for the six towns in Chungcheongbuk-do and to identify their characteristics. The main subjects of the study are hardware plans such as the public facility plan
