Cefepime-induced neurotoxicity, including nonconvulsive status epilepticus, has been reported especially in patients with renal impairment. However, focal nonconvulsive status epilepticus is very rare and cefepime-induced aphasic status epilepticus proven by electroencephalography have never been reported to our knowledge.
