5본 연구는 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육의 연계 방안을 탐색하는 연구이다. 이를 위해서 1) 현행 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육의 연계 실태를 분석하고, 2) 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육의 연계 방안을 구안하였으며, 3) 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육의 연계 강화를 위한 정책 및 제도 정비 방안 마련 작업을 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현행 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육의 연계 정도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 즉 현행 초등교원 양성교육과 현직교육은 상호 연계 없이 각각 개별적으로 운영되고 있음이 드러났다. 둘째, 본 연구에서는 기존의 초등 1급 정교사 자격 연수 프로그램 중, 1) 교육대학 교수들이 평가한 심화발전된 강좌, 2) 현직교사들이 평가한 심화발전되고 학교현장에서 도움이 되는 강좌, 3) 교육대학 교수들이 추천한 강좌, 4) 모범교사들의 추천 강좌 등을 종합하여 양성교육과 현직교육을 연계한 교원 연수 프로그램을 구안하였다. 셋째, 본 연구에서는 초등교원 양성교육
