Professor Jong-Hee Yoo's research lab specializes in experimental particle physics and nuclear physics, with a primary focus on neutrino physics and the search for new physics beyond the Standard Model. The lab is actively involved in reactor neutrino experiments, such as the Reactor Experiment for Neutrino and Exotics (RENE), aiming to resolve the reactor antineutrino anomaly and explore exotic particles. Key research directions include the development and characterization of high-performance photomultiplier tubes for liquid scintillator detectors, as well as advancing detector technologies for precision neutrino measurements. The lab also contributes to fundamental physics through the study of rare processes and the search for sterile neutrinos and other new phenomena.

1Abstract To address the reactor antineutrino anomaly (RAA) observed in neutrino experiments, the Reactor Experiment for Neutrino and Exotics (RENE) has been initiated using a liquid scintillation detector.
